Incorporated new Benchmark curriculum into lesson plans. Participated in Parent conference meetings and staff development days and grade level faculty meetings.

Created and implemented fifth grade lesson plans that followed state standards. Designed a multi day learning segment with varied assessments. Motivated student learning by incorporating differentiated learning entries by using writing, illustrating, cooking, graphic organizers, and acting.

During my enrollment in the credential program I was able to experience working in both public school and charter school settings. I was able to prepare myself to teach students with diverse backgrounds, multiple needs, strengths, and resources. With the support of outstanding and very knowledgeable professors, I was able to practice collaborating work habits to improve, schedule, and execute meaningful and strong lesson plans.
